I have a love of communication and how we connect with each other, a thirst for the conventions of language, and an eye for detail. There’s nothing like the happiness I feel by helping someone perfect their words and then watching their confidence grow when they present their writing to readers at its best.

When not assisting a writer with a project, I love cooking, eating, gardening, and painting. One of my goals for this year is to write a children’s book. My work as an editor enables me to connect with talented writers, and the way they can craft a fascinating story inspires me to chronicle some of my best childhood memories on my grandparent’s farm. Maybe someday I will add “published writer” to my list of accomplishments.

My husband and I enjoy life on our small farm. He is a patient soul who tries to teach me, “you can’t catch fish if you are making a lot of noise,” and the finer points of rowing a boat. (How do you steer with those two oars, anyway?) I’m mother and caretaker to a flock of lovely chickens, a rather disagreeable goose, and an assortment of four-legged, furry friends.

Kamdon has a wide-ranging portfolio of art and design projects. After graduating with an BFA in graphic design and painting, she went on to create logos, design coloring books, illustrate, flip houses, work with interior designers on assorted projects, and was the on set artist for “Mom and ME” on HGTV. That’s when Kamdon realized that creating was her greatest passion.

Through art, books, and designs, she utilizes her love and talent for taking the mere essence of an idea and translating that into living, breathing, splashes of vivid, whimsical tales for everyone to enjoy! 
Kamdon lives in the bustling mountain town of Bend, Oregon. Her home, she lovingly calls, "The Ranch," is shared with her two children, four dogs, and five chickens. When Kamdon is not designing on location or illustrating in my studio, you will still likely find her covered in paint--or fabric swatches, or cake icing, as her desire to create is an ongoing, daily matter of importance! (Tidiness, however, is not.)

Mary O'Neill is a freelance illustrator and uses the digital art medium, as well as traditional mediums such as oil and acrylic painting, charcoal, pencil, among others.

In her spare time she is an avid reader of fantasy novels and dotes on her dog Neo.
