Clarice is the wife of one husband and has four beautiful daughters, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren who live in Maine, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Maryland, and Georgia.
After the death of her husband, Herman, she lived in Assisted Living for three years. She then moved to Georgia to live with her youngest daughter, Gloria.
Having been active in the Lord's work in the Church of the Nazarene for over sixty years, she discovered the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Lilburn, Georgia, where she continued to serve the Lord in church attendance and the Women's Ministry. She has made many close friends in the Lilburn Alliance Church who have contributed to her contentment.
She says with Paul in Philippians: "I have learned to be content whatsoever state (Maine or Georgia) I am in." She believes she is where she is "for such a time as this."
Clarice began writing about her life as a gift to her daughters, but it snowballed as the Lord led her in the writing, often dreaming an entire chapter and getting up to write it. She is quick to say that the Lord wrote the book, and she prays that someone will be blessed by it and choose to walk in the Way.
