Madison Arsenault is a freelance proofreader and copy editor who bridges analytical skills with a love of words to help works-in-progress reach their full potential. A lifelong reader, her passion for words and storytelling has shaped her life experiences and goals, driving her to pursue writing and editing professionally. This passion for books has made her familiar with reading with a critical eye, identifying not only simple grammar mistakes but the ways in

which slight language or organizational edits can improve a work. As a writer herself, Madison brings a unique perspective to the editing process and understands the importance of maintaining an author’s voice and style while making improvements that will help the work-in-progress stand out and be its best. Through her business The Inkwell Edit, she offers various levels of edits aimed at aiding fellow writers on their journeys to publication, whether they choose to go the traditional, indie, or self-publishing route.

Within her creative pursuits, Madison’s love of fantasy and historical fiction has led her to write primarily fantasy-inspired novels, with an adult fantasy novel and a Middle Grade historical fiction novel with fantasy elements both underway. She also expresses her love of writing and reading through her literary site House of Cadmus.

Proofreading: Proofreading is the final step that ensures the quality of your work before it goes out to readers. It's a surface level edit that corrects spelling, punctuation, grammar, formatting, and word use. Proofreading sharpens your writing and ensures you're delivering the reading experience you want to bring to your audience. No project is complete without it.

Copyediting: Copyediting is a deeper look at your writing. In addition to proofread corrections, a copyedit will look at more technical issues while creating a style guide specific to you, verifying basic facts, ensuring any design elements or graphics are consistent and formatted correctly, and flagging inconsistencies and trademark or copyright issues that could arise. All copyedit corrections are made while maintaining your unique style and voice within your writing.

Advanced Copyediting: Advanced copyediting is an even deeper dive into perfecting your project. Along with proofread and copyedit corrections, an advanced copyedit will include elements of line editing, with suggestions or changes, as per your preference, to word choice, sentence structure, and light structural edits for clarity, effectiveness, and consistency within the work, style, and voice.

Trinity Press specializes in assisting self-publishers print their paperback books. We are passionate about saving people from the high cost of publishers who we feel take an unfair cut from the author's profit on the book. Our approach is to un-bundle our services so you only pay for what you need. We try to be easy to work with supporting you with any service you would like. We have all of the modern equipment to design, layout, proof, print, and bind your books in house. Although we do not have a minimum it typically makes sense to do a run of at least 50 books to reduce your per book price. Quoting is as simple as you providing us the size of the book and the page count and quantities you desire to have quoted.

If you like we can provide ISBN numbers and bar codes or show you how to get your own if you prefer. Our pre-press staff can assist with layout and proper spine width cover design issues as well as work with your art to insure it prints correctly. If you like we offer full service design and layout of your book too. If you need an editor, we have sources for that as well.

As a full service commercial printer we also offer other services that authors frequently like such as a retractable banner for $139 with a lifetime guarantee. These are great if you plan to do book signings and want a 33”x80” large graphic that helps draw attention for you. We also offer custom printed table cloths in either 6 or 8 feet length. We print bookmarks plain or laminated, postcards, business cards, or any other promotional type print you may need.

If your book is such that it may ship out in bulk to various locations you may want to discuss possible fulfillment services we offer as well. At our website trinitypress.com you may upload your book and request estimates.
